RacknRock operates solely as a software service provider and data processor on behalf of subscribing merchants.

2. Nature of Our Services

RacknRock is:

  • A subscription-based SaaS platform

  • A warehouse and fulfillment management system

  • An integration tool for marketplace order synchronization

RacknRock is not:

  • A marketplace operator

  • A seller or reseller

  • A payment processor

  • A merchant-of-record

  • Affiliated with Walmart or Temu

Merchants remain solely responsible for their marketplace accounts, compliance obligations, customer service, and seller agreements.

3. Information We Collect

A. Merchant Account Information

When a business subscribes to RacknRock, we may collect:

  • Business name

  • Authorized contact name

  • Business email address

  • Phone number

  • Billing information

  • Encrypted API credentials or access tokens

This information is used strictly to provide and maintain Services.

B. Marketplace Order Data (Processed on Behalf of Merchants)

When merchants connect marketplace accounts, RacknRock may process:

  • Order identifiers

  • SKU and product information

  • Shipping name

  • Shipping address

  • Carrier details

  • Tracking numbers

  • Fulfillment status

RacknRock does not collect or store:

  • Customer payment card information

  • Bank account credentials

  • Marketplace login passwords

  • Full financial transaction records

4. Runtime Data Processing Model

RacknRock operates primarily using a real-time runtime processing model.

Marketplace order data is:

  • Accessed securely via encrypted API connections

  • Processed in real time for fulfillment operations

  • Used to generate shipping labels and update tracking

  • Synchronized back to the originating marketplace

RacknRock does not create independent consumer databases.

Customer personal information is not retained beyond what is operationally necessary for:

  • Order fulfillment

  • Shipment tracking

  • Legal, accounting, or tax obligations

Where temporary storage occurs (e.g., order logs or audit records), it is limited in scope and secured using appropriate safeguards.

RacknRock does not use marketplace customer data for advertising, profiling, resale, or unrelated analytics.

5. Walmart Marketplace Compliance

When merchants connect their Walmart Marketplace account:

  • Data is accessed solely through authorized API integrations.

  • Walmart customer data is used exclusively for order fulfillment and logistics.

  • No Walmart customer data is used for marketing purposes.

  • No payment information is stored within RacknRock systems.

  • API credentials are encrypted at rest and in transit.

  • Access is restricted via role-based security controls.

RacknRock complies with Walmart Marketplace Developer and data protection requirements.

6. Temu Compliance

When merchants connect their Temu account:

  • Temu order data is processed solely for operational fulfillment.

  • Customer information is not used for marketing or behavioral profiling.

  • API credentials are securely encrypted.

  • Data access is limited to authorized systems and personnel.

  • Data is not disclosed except to operational partners (such as shipping carriers) required to complete fulfillment.

RacknRock adheres to Temu API and data protection standards.

7. Marketplace Independence

RacknRock is an independent software provider.

RacknRock:

  • Does not operate or manage merchant accounts for Walmart or Temu.

  • Does not provide seller registration services.

  • Does not control marketplace policies.

  • Does not assume responsibility for seller compliance or marketplace disputes.

Merchants are solely responsible for maintaining compliance with all marketplace terms and agreements.

8. Data Sharing

RacknRock may share limited operational data with:

  • Shipping carriers

  • Cloud hosting providers

  • Infrastructure providers

  • Monitoring and logging service providers

All third-party service providers are contractually obligated to protect data and process it solely for service delivery purposes.

RacknRock does not sell or rent personal information.

9. Data Security

RacknRock implements commercially reasonable security safeguards, including:

  • TLS/HTTPS encryption

  • Encrypted storage

  • Role-based access controls

  • Secure cloud infrastructure

  • Logging and monitoring

  • Regular system updates

While no system can guarantee absolute security, RacknRock maintains appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality.

10. Data Retention

  • Provide Services

  • Maintain operational records

Merchants may request deletion of data subject to legal and marketplace requirements.

RacknRock does not sell personal information.

Because RacknRock operates as a data processor on behalf of merchants, individuals seeking access, correction, or deletion of personal information should contact the merchant directly.

RacknRock will assist merchants in responding to lawful privacy requests where applicable.

12. International Processing

Data may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where RacknRock or its service providers operate infrastructure, subject to appropriate safeguards.

13. Children’s Privacy

RacknRock Services are intended for business use only and are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age.

14. Updates to This Policy

RacknRock may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date.
